This is a blanket I have looked at a few times on Flickr. It was made by Sandra Juto. She even sells them, and of course she has a blog. But heres the funny thing. While teaching crochet classes tonight Miriam showed me a photo of what she's like to make.....and there was this blanket!! Weird how small the world is...that 2 girls who live a mile apart are looking at a blanket made by someone a world away.

It's such a beautiful blanket! I love how all the colours look up against the white. Thanks for including me on your Melbourne blogroll.

Small world indeedy, but with a blanket so BEAUTIFUL as that I'm not surprised you are both drooling. I'm drooling and thinking that's what my crafty birthday shopping spree might be about!

That is so beautiful - love how the white sets off the squares - very fresh!

I'm officially in love with that blanket. I admire anyone who can crochet...I'm not patient enough.

PS: I don't have Swine Flu. Just a very non-exotic throat infection :)

Fabulous blanket! Sounds like you found a kindred spirit in Miriam, it's so nice when that happens. : )
