If you know me you know I usually say it as I see it. I told my boss - my heart's not in it any more. Someone else can put thier passion into it. Not sure when I will actually finish - as I am busy at the moment doing my Cert IV in Tranining and Assessment (which work payed for!). and getting more things ready for Yarraville market and Market3031.
I know what I would like to do - but is there a demand for it.
I WOULD LIKE TO TEACH CROCHET.
I have never asked for feedback before but I am now.
Is there anyone out there (in Melbourne) who would be interested in learning the ins & outs of how to crochet???
I'm not asking you to sign up or anything - I just want to know if there is a need.

I know how to crochet but have a couple of friends just moving to the Franskston side of town who would absolutely loooove to learn. Cherrie PS try dorothybills !!
I think that going with your passion is always a great way to start! I often hear people saying "I'd love to learn how to crochet" (usually closely followed by "will you teach me") so I think that there may be a market. I tend to refer people to YouTube and reference books but most want to learn from a real person and really be shown and encouraged. Why not give it a whirl on a part-time basis?
Yes - i think there is a market for it and I would love to learn. Sometimes you need to jump in two feet first and see where your travels take you.
Why not give it a go, and if it does not work out, then look for a 'real job!'
Cheers - Kirsten (who quit her job too, and only has 2 weeks to go, as is starting her own online craft store!)
I think it is a wonderful idea! Teach what you love and other's cannot help but be inspired. My sister teaches a blogging class and people love it!
Yes yes yes quit your job. I do it all the time. There is always something new out there. Follow the dream. I'd love to make beautiful little crochety things. I'd go to a class. Good luck. Fiona
Yes I think I crochet class is a wonderful idea. I have been trying to learn for months using YouTube tutorials and written instructions but I'm just not getting it. I'm not a total clutz, so I bet I just need someone to actually show me where I'm going wrong. I bet there are others like me too.
Good luck!
